When attempting to start database listener, the following error occurs as a result autoconfig failed to complete without errors

Symptoms:
After DB upgrade 10g, Running adbldxml.pl on DB Tier failed with:
oracle>perl adbldxml.pl tier=db appsuser=apps appspasswd=apps

Solution:


The /etc/hosts file entry 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost has been modified look into this modification and revert back the change
