Problem: OPP process on node 2 is not starting, failing with error "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError"


Symptoms:
Database : 2 nodes RAC : HP Ux
Application server : 2 node Shared Application tier : Linux

we have configured OPP on both the nodes , on node 1 it is starting properly and on node it is giving below error.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/apps/fnd/cp/gsm/GSMSvcComponentContainer
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.apps.fnd.cp.gsm.GSMSvcComponentContainer

Issue :

OPP on node 2 and workflow agent listener is not starting both are getting above error.

The below are the details of env variables on both nodes.
AF_JRE_TOP =/APPL_TOP/EZWT/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/appsutil/jdk/jre
AFJVAPRG = /APPL_TOP/EZWT/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/appsutil/jdk/jre/java.sh

AF_CLASSPATH variable needs to be set properly in $APPL_TOP/admin/adovars.env.

The correct value as per Note.332152.1 & Note.260393.1 is:

AF_CLASSPATH=[JDK_TOP]/lib/dt.jar:[JDK_TOP]/lib/tools.jar:[JDK_TOP]/jre/lib/rt.jar:[JDK_TOP]/jre/lib/i18n.jar:
$JAVA_TOP/appsborg2.zip:$ORACLE_HOME/forms60/Java:$JAVA_TOP

Steps to be followed:

Reset the AF_CLASSPATH variable value in $APPL_TOP/admin/adovars.env to include $JAVA_TOP/appsborg2.zip
Source the environment again to point AF_CLASSPATH to the right .zip file
Restart the concurrent managers
